PARTICIPATION OF OUR OFFICE IN THE INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF THE ERASMUS+ PROJECT
"THE POWER OF AR & VR" AT THE 2nd LABORATORY CENTER OF PIRAEUS
It is with great pleasure that we accepted the invitation from the 2nd Laboratory Center of Piraeus to present the activities of the European & International Programs Office and the National Erasmus+ Consortium of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus at the international meeting of the ERASMUS+ Program "The Power of AR & VR, Igniting Passion for Learning Through Innovative Technologies."
The meeting took place on Monday, April 7, 2025, in the amphitheater of the 1st Vocational High School of Piraeus and the 2nd Laboratory Center of Piraeus, where the Office and Makerspace of the Municipality of Piraeus are also located. It was attended by thirty teachers and education specialists from six European countries. Dr. M. Karyotaki, Dr. E. Tsourapa, and K. Christodoulou, presented the activities of the Office since its establishment in June 2023, as well as its collaborations, partnerships, and synergies with organizations, academic institutions, and various stakeholders at local, national, European, and international level. The presentation focused particularly on the accredited Erasmus+ National Consortium of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus (2025-1-EL01-KA121-SCH-00344561) coordinated by the Director, Dr. Anastasopoulos, and comprising of 50 local schools. The three officers, who are responsible for the academic and organizational coordination of the Consortium, presented the needs of the schools addressed by the Consortium, its objectives and planned implementation, and the expected results of the project.
